Kawęczyn Heating Plant

The third largest PGNiG TERMIKA plant, launched in 1983.

Thermal power: 512 MWt

Following the optimization of the district heating system of the Capital City of Warsaw, the Kawęczyn district heating plant operates as a seasonal heat source, providing Warsaw residents with heat when the temperature drops below -1 degrees Celsius.

The chimney of the Kawęczyn Heating Plant is as high as 300 meters.

100 percent of combustion waste is managed.

Graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics in the field of management. In 2007-2008 participant of part-time doctoral studies at the College of Management and Finance of the Warsaw School of Economics.

He has 28 years of professional experience in managerial positions in the area of ​​finance and management.

In 2004-2010 associated with PSE Operator S.A. – as director and vice-president for finance, responsible for strategic energy projects, including “revenue of the transmission network operator”, negotiations of the agreement for the Poland-Lithuania connection, establishment of Zarząduca Rozliczeń S.A. – a company responsible for the settlement of long-term electricity contracts.
In 2013-2014 President of the Management Board of PGNiG TERMIKA S.A. Since 2015, Member of the Management Board of Mazowiecki Fundusz Poręczeń sp. z o.o., a company providing guarantees for credits, loans, leases, tender deposits and proper performance of contracts.
He served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PL2012+ (2014-2016), Projekt Warszawa sp. z o.o. (2020-2021) and sat on the supervisory boards of PSE Zachód sp. z o.o., Zarządu Rozliczeń S.A., Energia dla Firm sp. z o.o.

Currently Member of the Supervisory Boards of Noble Securities S.A. and Noble Funds TFI S.A.

He has the authorization to sit on the Supervisory Boards of State Treasury Companies.
